International students who wish to study in Belize must be accepted by a recognized educational institution in the country. Student Visa is to students who have received an acceptance letter from the institution in Belize.
The study permit is only valid for the institution specified and is not transferable.
Visa Application Procedure
Applicants must fill out a visa application form, sign it and submit it to the nearest
Belize embassy.
Documentation
Documents to be submitted for study permit/student visa for Belize are as follows:
- Academic transcripts
- Letter of financial support
- Letter of acceptance: issued by the institution where you have been enrolled
- Proof of income: Can be a bank statement or a letter from financial authority
- A copy of passport and 2 passport size photos
- Visa application fee receipt
- Travel arrangements proof
- Evidence of accommodation in Belize
